Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring Laurier Optical a quote from another optical retailer?
Yes. Bring the quote to a Laurier Optical location and our team can help you understand how the products and specifications compare.
What should I bring?
Bring the eyewear quote you received and, if available, your current prescription. The more detail contained in the quote, the easier it will be for us to make a meaningful comparison.
Are all eyewear quotes directly comparable?
Not necessarily. Lens design, material, coatings, frame, warranty and included services can differ considerably. Our team can help you understand those differences.
Can Laurier compare progressive-lens quotes?
Yes. Because progressive lenses can vary in design and features, our team will review the specifications when comparing options.
Do I need an eye exam to purchase glasses?
If you already have a valid prescription, visit or contact your nearest Laurier Optical location. If you need an updated prescription, you can book an eye exam online.
